Why does Fairsky say NO?

Open the project's card and tap Why? It shows the hours Fairsky looked at, each reading (temperature, dew-point gap, humidity, rain chance, wind) marked OK, borderline or a problem, and the thresholds with their sources, such as rain-free hours before and after or the first night's low.

Use my product's label

Labels differ, and your label wins. For a project you can enter your product's minimum and maximum application temperature and how many rain-free hours it needs afterwards; Fairsky then uses those numbers instead of its defaults, and the Why? sheet lists your label as the source.

Alerts not arriving

  • Check that notifications are allowed for Fairsky in your phone's settings and that alerts are on in the app.
  • On Android, set Fairsky's battery usage to Unrestricted (Settings › Apps › Fairsky › Battery) so the system doesn't delay notifications.
  • At launch, severe-weather alerts cover places in the United States only.
  • Fairsky is not a substitute for official warnings. For warnings, go to weather.gov, and keep your phone's Wireless Emergency Alerts turned on.

Widgets

Long-press an empty spot on your home screen, tap Widgets, find Fairsky and drag a widget onto the screen. Widgets update in the background; if one looks out of date, open the app once to refresh it and check that battery optimization isn't restricting Fairsky. Widgets show forecast information on your home screen, where anyone holding your phone can see it.

Restoring a purchase

Open the app's settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account you bought with.

Cancelling a subscription

On iPhone, open Settings › your name › Subscriptions, choose the app and tap Cancel. On Android, open the Google Play app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Refunds

Apple handles App Store refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com; Google handles Google Play refunds through Google Play Help. We can't issue store refunds ourselves.

Privacy

See the Fairsky privacy policy for what the app stores and where.
