Terms of use

These terms cover your use of the app “Jagdklar: Jägerprüfung 2027” made by Elco Dev, LLC (“we”). By using the app you agree to them. The Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

1. What Jagdklar is

Jagdklar is a study aid for the written part of the German hunting licence exam (Jägerprüfung). Questions and model answers come from the official Bavarian question catalogue (Stand 12.05.2026), published by the Bayerisches Landesamt für Maß und Gewicht. Explanations, the study plan, readiness scores, the hunting-season overview and the law reference are written by us. Jagdklar is an unofficial study aid made by Elco Dev, LLC. It is not affiliated with the Free State of Bavaria, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs or the Bavarian State Office for Weights and Measures (LMG). Only the official question catalogue and the law are authoritative.

2. No guarantee, no legal advice

We don’t guarantee that you will pass. Readiness scores and mock exams are estimates. Only the official catalogue in force, the exam regulations (JFPO) and the law are authoritative; if the authority changes the catalogue, we update the app as soon as we can. Explanations, seasons, the law reference and exam dates are simplified summaries, not legal advice. The app contains the Bavarian catalogue only; other German states, Austria and Switzerland use other catalogues and partly different state law.

3. Free use and Jagdklar Pro

Free: three study rounds a day, one mock exam, the study plan, readiness, hunting seasons, the widget and sync. Jagdklar Pro adds unlimited rounds, all mock exams, mistake training, the unlimited species trainer, the hunting log and the law reference. Pro is offered as a yearly subscription (with a free trial), a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase; prices and trial length are shown in the app and on Google Play before you buy.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
  • Manage or cancel in the Google Play app: profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
  • The lifetime purchase unlocks Pro for as long as we offer the app.
  • Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights follow Google Play’s terms; we can’t refund store payments ourselves. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

4. Use

Use the app lawfully and for your own exam preparation and hunting practice. Don’t copy or redistribute the app’s own content (explanations, text, design, code) without permission. The official catalogue itself is an official work (amtliches Werk, § 5 UrhG). What you enter yourself, such as hunting-log entries, is yours.

5. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under product liability law. For slightly negligent breaches of essential obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage; otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded. For free use we are liable only for intent and gross negligence, as far as the law allows.

6. Reporting errors

If a question, answer or explanation looks wrong, email austin@elcodev.com with the question number (e.g. “3-22”). We check every report against the official catalogue.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence is not affected.
