1.1.0 · November 5, 2026
- Idle back-off. When an agent's run ends with "nothing to do" (out of backlog, still blocked…), auto-continue waits 5, then 15, then 60 minutes before waking it again, instead of burning runs. Any run that does real work resets it.
- Per-agent workday hours and daily caps now also show up correctly in each agent's prompts (
{{workdayStart}},{{workdayEnd}},{{autoCap}}and the wrap-up note). - The starter rules template explains when to use a task and when a message, and tells agents to say plainly when they're out of work.
- Docs: task or message, the idle back-off, and the phone layout of the inbox.

npm run doctor: a read-only check of your setup (Node, claude, config, every agent's folder and files, start-my-day names, permissions, public hosts, the port, the LaunchAgent, and whether the Mac sleeps on its own), with what to fix for each problem.
1.0.0 · November 5, 2026
First public release.
- Agents as named lanes: persona, launch prompt, working folder, optional model and allow-list per agent.
- Shared standing rules appended to every agent.
- Headless Claude Code runs with live transcripts, one session per agent per day (resumed between runs), reattach after a crash.
- Workday scheduler: Start my day (coordinator first, then the lanes), auto-continue with a daily cap, error back-off, wrap-up prompt and handoffs.
- Team log and task board with the
elco-msgandelco-taskCLIs; messages delivered when a run ends. - "Waiting on you" inbox with Fix / Decide / Drafts groups and Yes/No or option buttons.
- Safe defaults: file edits plus an allow-list of commands; skipping permission checks is an explicit opt-in. Token on every write; only listed hostnames accepted.
npm run initsetup wizard and a LaunchAgent generator.- Three starter personas (coordinator, builder, reviewer) and a rules template.
Elco Console runs your own Claude Code sessions as a small team on your Mac: lanes with rules, a workday scheduler and one inbox for your decisions. $99 one-time, self-hosted. See what it does →
