Grace After Meals
The traditional thanksgiving said after eating.
We give thee thanks for all thy benefits,
O almighty God, who livest and reignest for ever;
and may the souls of the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Where it comes from
The traditional thanksgiving Agimus tibi gratias, said after eating, and joined to a prayer for the dead.
