St Eulogius of Córdoba
(d. 859) Priest and scholar of Córdoba under Muslim rule who recorded the deaths of the city's martyrs in his Memorial of the Saints. Elected archbishop of Toledo, he was beheaded before his consecration for sheltering a young convert, Leocritia.
Saint Eulogius, chronicler of martyrs, pray that we honor those who witness with blood.
