Vantage

Overview

play-vantage is a hub of nine free daily games, generated from the calendar date so every player gets an identical set with nothing stored on a server. Vantage itself resolves several hundred shards into a silhouette from exactly one angle; the others include Chorus, Cascade, Deal, Loop, Trace, One Shot, Stack and Fold. There is no fail state anywhere, and finishing any single game keeps your streak.

What we built

• Nine daily games from one date-seeded engine: the same puzzles for everyone, no server state
• 3D silhouette puzzles rendered with three.js and React Three Fiber
• No fail state: stopwatches against a par instead of countdowns
• Static, prerendered pages for every game, with a shared streak and share card
