# SettleDate

> JSON API for exchange holidays, early closes, trading sessions, business-day math and T+1/T+2 settlement dates. 29 exchanges, 3 payment-rail calendars (US Fed, TARGET2, UK), 52 countries; 2020-2030. Built by Elco Dev, LLC.

Base URL: https://www.elcodev.com/apps/settledate
Auth: optional header X-API-Key: sd_... (keyless: 60 calls/hour per IP, free calendars only). Free key: 5,000 calls/month.
Free calendars: all countries (US, GB, GB-ENG, DE, JP, ...) plus XNYS, XNAS, XLON, XETR, XTKS, us-fed, eu-target2, gb-bacs-chaps. Paid plans unlock all exchanges.

{id} = MIC (XNYS, XNAS, XLON, XPAR, XETR, XSWX, XTSE, XTKS, XHKG, XASX, ...), rail (us-fed, eu-target2, gb-bacs-chaps) or ISO country/subdivision (US, GB-ENG). Comma-join ids for a joint calendar (XNYS,XLON).

## Facts the API encodes
- US T+1 from trade date 2024-05-28; US settlement skips Fed holidays the NYSE trades through (Columbus Day, Veterans Day).
- EU T+1 from trade date 2027-10-11 (Regulation (EU) 2025/2075, confirmed). UK and Switzerland same date, announced but not final (status: announced_not_final).
- Euro settlement skips TARGET2 closing days; sterling settlement skips England and Wales bank holidays.
