St Conrad of Piacenza
(c. 1290–1351) Nobleman whose hunting fire destroyed a countryside; when a poor man was condemned for it, Conrad confessed, paid full restitution, and gave away all he had. He spent his last decades as a hermit in Sicily, famed for miracles at Noto.
Saint Conrad, honest at great cost, pray that we own our faults entirely.
