(d. 664) Northumbrian monk of Lindisfarne, one of four brothers all priests, sent as bishop to the East Saxons, where he founded the chapel of St Peter-on-the-Wall that still stands at Bradwell. Interpreter at the Synod of Whitby, he died of plague at Lastingham.
